Digital Map Products was founded in 2001 with the goal of making spatial technology simple to implement and to use and ultimately more widely available. Our co-founder Jim Skurzynski saw the tremendous advantage large companies with sophisticated GIS departments had in the business world, and he set out to make mapping tools available to smaller and mid-sized businesses as well.

Since our company’s beginnings, we’ve been on the cutting edge in delivering spatial technology over the web with solutions for business, government and consumers. Most of the major online real estate sites leverage our mapping web services and we now have one of the largest collections of parcel boundary data in the US. Our software helps local governments deliver intuitive GIS to both city staff and residents, and lets builders, developers and commercial brokers spatially enable their real estate research and analysis. We also offer a spatial development platform that lets geo-developers quickly and cost-effectively develop mapping applications of their own.
